Cathleen was born and raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and went to local public schools and Hunter College. She was a singer, both classically trained and in rock and country bands before changing careers to the Hospitality industry over 25 years ago where she did high end catering sales with the Silver Palate and then as a corporate event manager and director with Sodexo Marriott. She met and married a native of Montclair and they bought and restored a Victorian house over twenty years ago, where they still live today. She took time to raise two boys and guide them through the Montclair Public School system and along the way she has been an active volunteer for the PTA and for the Montclair Lacrosse Booster Club among others organizations. She is a genuine, energetic and dedicated people person who understands the transition from city to suburb and loves the culture, diversity and great community Montclair has to offer. Her experience in party planning, hospitality, event space rental, sales and management, (she is currently the rental and facilities manager at The Montclair Women’s Club, one of New Jersey’s oldest women’s clubs), along with her strong commitment to building solid and lasting relationships, have given her the broad based customer service tools needed to help understand your home building wants and needs.
